Step 01

Storage

Wrap each Poshak in soft muslin and store flat in a dark, dry place. Avoid plastic — silk needs to breathe.

Step 02

Specialist dry cleaning only. Mention the embroidery technique to your cleaner so they handle it with appropriate care.

Step 03

Avoid prolonged direct sunlight. Natural dyes are luminous because they evolve — protect that evolution.

Step 04

Air gently in shade between uses. A light steam from a distance can restore the drape.

Step 05

Always hold by the lining, never by the zardozi. Embroidery loosens when carried.
